Liberal Burblings is a developing politics and news blog that is based in the UK and is predominantly aimed at a UK audience. Liberal Burblings was founded by Paul Walter, a Liberal Democrat activist from Newbury. The blog went live on 'liberalburblings.co.uk' on November 6th 2009, but was previously hosted on various other URLs. Since February 26th 2017 it has been hosted on 'paulwalternewbury.wordpress.com' and is the musings of Paul, mainly about politics. Paul says, "In fact, blogging reflects an interest of mine which is more long-standing than my interest in politics – writing. At the age of nine I ran my own weekly “newspaper” which I distributed to friends and family." Jonathan Calder has been a political Blogger for a number of years and first started Liberal England in 2004. Prior to Liberal England he wrote the Diary of Whittington - created during London’s first mayoral election, which Jonathan describes as “the first political blog in Britain”.
