Belo Corporation of Dallas acquired the Providence Journal Corporation, including KASA-TV, in 1997. In 1999, KASA-TV was acquired by Raycom Media of Montgomery, AL. In February 2007 the station was purchased by LIN Television Corp. The station was a FOX affiliate until 2017.
