IINRNGUnited Kingdom
Launched in February 2010, The Inner Ring is a blog about cycling and cycle sport, especially pro cycling. News, comment, opinion and chat feature on the blog. The aim is to give a different take on the sport and sometimes have a look at things that might get overlooked by the mainstream cycle sport media. The blog posts are written by anonymously and bylined as 'theinnerring'. The blogger states that 'it’s only a blog, half the point is to ramble through things, to think aloud, to dip in and out of subjects. There’s no overriding aim. That said, many thanks to all the readers who visit and I’ve been lucky enough to write pieces for Cyclesport, cyclingnews.com, Bicycling and Pro Cycling magazine as well. Sometimes I think pieces on here are too long-winded, it’s only a blog and I don’t usually have time to edit each piece'. Entries in The Inner Ring blog concentrate on categories such as Support, Calendar, Lexicon, Who Makes What?, Books and Roads. Previous posts include Riders to Watch for 2016, 2016 Pro Team Bikes, New UCI Rankings System, 2016 Race Calendar, 10 Predictions for 2016, Should World Tour Pros Race The U23 Worlds?, Christmas Quiz – The Answers, The Christmas Holiday Quiz, What Happened to the 10 Predictions for 2015? and Who Will Make The Cut?. PR opportunities include news, reviews and interviews related to cycling and cycle sport, especially pro cycling. The blogger can be reached via the email address listed above.
