CruiseMiss
Launched in 2012, Cruise Miss is a personal blog about cruiseship holidays and destinations. Cruise Miss was named a Finalist in the Favorite Cruise Blogger Awards for the Wave Awards in 2018. In 2017, the blog was Highly Commended in the Cruise Magazine International Awards. Cruise Miss provides a mixture of content about cruise holidays with Danielle blogging about her experiences traveling. Many posts are news stories about goings on in the cruise industry, like route unveilings, which are written in a reporting style and may include photographs. Others consist of Danielle's advice for readers new to cruising about etiquette and travel tips. She also does content, comment and/or articles for other cruise related websites or blogs. The Blogger: Cruise Miss is written by Danielle Fear who started the blog while working within cruise travel. "My first cruise was the complete opposite to everything I had imagined a cruise to be. It was fun, full of energy, the average age was definitely not 80 and I didn’t have to wear a dress every evening, as I had expected. Those twelve days onboard were a real eye opener and it is fair to say I definitely caught what is often referred to as “the cruising bug” (and no, I don’t mean norovirus). 50+ sailings and a World Cruise later and I’m still trying to sell the ocean to everyone I meet." PR Opportunities: PR opportunities are available in the form of reviews of gadgets, cameras, luggage, flip flops etc as well as other collaborations on other things that her readers may find useful while travelling. Danielle says: "With regards to travel related collaborations, I mainly aim for cruise and specifically no-fly. I am always open to land travel opportunities, but the destination must be within easy reach of a cruise port, so it is relevant for my readership. I also love ferry and rail travel, so this is also of interest. Many people extend their cruise holidays, so destination specific is always on my radar." She can best be reached at daniellefear@hotmail.co.uk or at cruisemiss@live.co.uk
