The Woking News & Mail was ceased by the Guardian Media Group in March 2011 but brought back into publishing by businessman Philip Davies. It covers news, sport, entertainment and business for Woking. The publications were the only local papers not included in the sale of GMG's regional business to Trinity Mirror in February 2010. The last edition to be published will be the News & Mail on Thursday. Gorkana Alert: Wednesday 1 December 2010 The Woking News & Mail and Woking Review have launched a new website.
