Future Publishing’s Windows Vista: The Official Magazine has been re-named Windows: The Official Magazine. The magazine changed name at issue 33 to widen its remit to cover Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Live and Windows Mobile, reflecting the upcoming launch of Microsoft’s new Windows 7 operating system. Following the one-off preview, Future will launch Windows Vista: The Official Magazine alongside the operating system in late January/early February 2007. The Preview Magazine is an exclusive 164-page preview, with an interactive DVD – giving readers a chance to experience the look and feel of the test versions of the operating system first hand.
