The Bucks Herald will switch to tabloid format on 30 May and the West Sussex County Times will switch on the 31 May. The property section of the West Sussex County Times will remain broadsheet following requests from readers and estate agents and a final broadsheet souvenir edition of The Bucks Herald will go on sale this week. Johnston Press also plan to re-launch North East free weeklies the Peterlee Star, Washington Star and Seaham & Houghton Star as paid-for papers. The company recently announced a re-launch of 170 of its paid-for newspapers, excluding The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday, The Yorkshire Post and The News Letter. The company also plans to create five different design templates to be rolled out across its portfolio of daily and weekly newspapers.
