The publication is divided into four sections: - Technology Week - focuses on technology companies - Market Week - Provides coverage on what happened in the markets the previous week - Mutual Funds - Coverage on the Mutual Funds industry - The Wrap - Ties in the previous three sections Barron's special reports DO NOT have specific contacts, contact any senior editor on the masthead for direction. It launched October 15, 2007 to over 30 million subscribers. The network reaches a broad range of viewers in terms of gender, age and ethnicity and focuses on people interested in business and finance. Note that, depending on the show, the producers MAY NOT book guests based on PR pitches. Many prefer to find guests based on their presence in the news already or their established presence as sources on a certain topic.

    Bloomberg Television is a 24-hour cable network covering national and international business and financial news. The network launched in the U.S. in June 1999 (the Bloomberg News newswire launched in 1990 and the Web site in December 1995). Topics covered on the network include daily stock activity, NASDAQ, futures and bonds, banking, investment options, personal finance, mutual funds, mergers and acquisitions, money flow, and general economic conditions. Based in New York, Bloomberg's global network includes 750 reporters at 79 news bureaus around the world. Programming often includes interviews with brokers, investors, CEOs, and other influential business people. PR professionals are advised to fax time-sensitive press releases to the Bloomberg assignment desk. For non-breaking news and general story ideas, contact the producer of the appropriate Bloomberg program. Many of the network's reporters and correspondents want to receive information directly as well. All information sent must be related to some aspect of business and be of interest to a mass audience. Do not call between 4pm and 5pm ET. Keep pitches brief but specific, and include appropriate contact information. Lead times vary depending on the nature of the story. Breaking news can be covered instantly while some features may take weeks to produce. Bloomberg Television is viewed predominantly by adults interested in daily business news. 34 percent of Bloomberg's audience has a household income of over $100,000.
