The Oakland Press (originally The Pontiac Press from its inception in 1919 until it was re-branded in 1972) is a daily newspaper for the residents of Oakland County, Michigan that covers the day's events, from the goings-on in local communities, schools, police departments and courts to the political events in the nation's capitol. It provides local, regional, state and national news, as well as sports, business, features, special reports and entertainment coverage.
It strives to "deliver quality products and services that exceed our customers' expectations." Deadlines are three days prior to issue date.
