Social Beautify is a personal beauty site with the tagline - "be stunning in every way".
The blog was created by Ewa Pietreniuk who works in the beauty industry she says "Social Beautify was brought to life in 2011 for a couple of personal reasons. Firstly I felt a need to create. Secondly, I used it to overcome my own insecurities. English is my second language and I always thought I’m simply not good enough to use it for work purposes despite graduating with a first in Journalism and PR. I have dyslexia and as a child I was always made to believe by my language teacher that such a thing doesn’t exist. It’s just laziness. I started Social Beautify to practice writing and learn to be confident with who I am."
Sections on the site include Beauty, Categories, Fashion, Tutorials and Archive. Archives go back to May 2011. Ewa also has a video channel on YouTube. As would be expected the posts contain large images honing in on the products that are being written about - either as a review or news story. Posts are added several times a week. You can also find her on Pinterest here.
Ewa does accept beauty products from time to time but states explicitly in her blog: "Social Beautify is a place where I share my experience and knowledge in an unbiased way to help readers discover new products, lifestyles etc. It's very important to me that all my posts are honest and truthful from my experiences or that of a guest author. I do sometimes get given products to try by PR companies and so on, but this doesn’t mean I will blog about that product nor offer a positive review should I feel it doesn’t deserve one. Opinions expressed in posts will always be completely unbiased, unless otherwise stated in the post (call that a sponsored post). I will only feature products that are in line with my blog and that I deem relevant to Social Beautify’s readers." Ewa can be reached via the email address mentioned in the profile.
