Bio

Shoeperwoman is a commercial fashion blog that predominantly covers shoes. The Shoeperwoman’s Blog is all about shoes, in which the Blogger wears different shoes every day for the year. The blog is based in the UK and was set-up in 2009 following the launch of her website a few years previously. The Shoeperwoman, Amber McNaught is a Freelance Journalist and Blogger and has been working online since 2004. She has experience in traditional print media as well. She confesses that she only works to support her expensive shoe habit. The blog posts are all about shoes. The Blogger posts pieces about shoes she loves and gives advice on how to wear them and where to get them. She also has a “Shoe Challenge” that she has started and now has a section for readers to participate. The challenge is now in its third year, the challenge attempts to "save" every pair of shoes in Amber's collection by wearing them, documenting the process on the blog. The blog has a large community of shoe lovers and they often participate in discussions and debates about shoes. On average the blog is updated every day and blog posts always carry images of shoes that Amber has sourced herself. PR opportunities exist in the form of product placement and product reviews. The best way to contact the blog is via the email address amber@hotigloo.co.uk. Alternatively, Amber is responsive on her Twitter account.
