The Scunthorpe Telegraph has launched Telegraph 2, a weekly pull-out which covers property and motors. The Northcliffe Media-owned publication decided to move from one newspaper to two separate sections to make it more appealing to readers. It is the second Northcliffe publication to split into two, after Echo 2 was launched by the Lincolnshire Echo. The Scunthorpe Telegraph switched from a daily to a 140-page weekly newspaper in August 2011.
