Background and Format:
Science Teacher Education is a professional online journal produced by the Association for Science Education (ASE). Founded in 1991, it focuses on the pre-service education, induction and professional development of science teachers. Among the topics covered are classroom and practice, management of education, partnership and mentoring, internal teacher education and a round-up of industry-related research.
Sister titles include Primary Science, School Science Review and Education in Science.
Audience and Readership:
The magazine is sent to all members of the ASE, which includes tutors and lecturers in higher education. It is also available on subscription to non-members, and these readers include consultants, advisers, inspectors and student teachers.
