The Saffron Walden Reporter is a free weekly newspaper covering local news, sport and events for Saffron Walden and the nearby areas. Its editorial team also produce the Dunmow Broadcast. The paper is available in print format and online via desktop, mobile and an e-edition. The Reporter covers a broad range of issues, from the 33 and 101 engineer regiments (EOD) based at Carver Barracks and Saffron Walden Community Hospital to Stansted Airport and its expansion plans to tourist attractions such as Mountfitchet Castle, Audley End House & Gardens, Linton Zoo and Duxford Imperial War Museum. It is aimed at residents of Saffron Walden and the outer areas. The deadline for each issue is Wednesday evening and the paper is then published every Thursday. It is distributed throughout Abington, Arkesden, Ashdon, Clavering, Debden, Duxford, Elsenham, Great Abington, Great Chesterford, Hadstock, Henham, Hinxton, Ickleton, Littlebury, Little Chesterford, Little Walden, Newport, Pampisford, Quendon, Radwinter, Rickling Green, Saffron Walden, Sewards End, Stansted, Thaxted, Wendens Ambo, Whittleford, Wicken Bonhunt, Widdington and Wimbish.
