Background and Format: Resurgence & Ecologist magazine (Resurgence and The Ecologist merged in June 2012, however the websites remain separate) focuses on ecology, alternative education, spirituality, sustainable development art and culture. It has leading writers in these fields contributing, and has a strong focus on photography and design. Some issues are given over to a particular theme such as food, nature, transport or a particular country or individual. To reflect the merger, they have created an Ecologist section in the magazine, featuring articles on activism, wellbeing, agriculture and global population. The magazine has a strong following in the US. Audience and Readership: Those interested in ecology/environmental issues. Copy Deadlines: 1st of the month, two months prior.
