The journal aims to raise awareness regarding the implications of research and policy in the context of researching, managing and commissioning services for older people. The publications seeks to promote the potential for independence, control and enhanced well-being and is relevant to the broad range of researchers and professionals involved in the study of ageing and delivering services to older people.
Content:
Quality in Ageing and Older Adults (QAOA) publishes international, peer-reviewed content that makes sense of current research and policy in working with older people at a key time of demographic change. The Journal particularly considers the implications of policy and research in managing and commissioning services and will provide practical information about the promotion of quality of life in later years as well as offer guidance on appropriate service provision. The Journal’s peer-reviewed articles consider the role of older people within their wider communities with the overall goals of promoting the potential for independence, control and enhanced well-being.
