Launched in January 2015, Motherhood: The Real Deal is a parenting blog. The blogger states that it is 'driven by the pure frustration (and of course amazing experience!) that is motherhood, and my disbelief at how much people don’t talk about or share, I’ve created this platform to get some of the issues and struggles mothers should be aware of out there.
Motherhood: The Real Deal is run by Talya, a mum to a little four year old gal. Having given up the working mum role when she hit 12 months (she was the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief for an online lifestyle platform) she’s sat on both sides of the fence as a working and then stay-at-home mum and like many, has grappled with the issues which come hand in hand with both scenarios. Having cut her teeth in Public Relations, and then at one of the world’s leading Museums, she has since specialised in online media which specifically where her strengths lie and where she has a deep understanding of the specific needs of the platform, including the creation of engaging, shareable content, the development of social media strategies, and the creation and development of online communities.
The blog catergories are Home, About Me, Work with me, Videos, Giveaways, #MyFiveThings series, The "What is it really like..." series, The #coolmumclub linky, Expert Editions series and Disclosure/privacy. Recent blog categories include A parent's guide to property investment, 5 ways to take five minutes for yourself in the morning, How teen mental health is affected by what they watch and the news and How does the London Exploter Pass work?
PR opportunities include news, reviews and interviews related to parenting. Talya can be reached via the email motherhoodtherealdeal@gmail.com.
