Background and Format: Leisure Painter is a learn-to-paint magazine with practical instruction on working with oils, watercolours, pastels, acrylics and drawing. It includes regular updates on competitions, exhibitions and events, and workshops around the country tutored by professional artists, as well as painting holidays and courses in the UK and Europe. Leisure Painter is aimed at beginners and amateur painters in need of step-by-step tuition.
