Background and Format:
International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ) was created in 2007 and strives to give focus to themes that challenge healthcare providers across the world - insurance, accreditation, marketing and promotion, quality, patient safety, levels of care and experience in treating international patients.
The site aims to provide extensive business-to-business directory which profiles companies and organisations offering services to the industry. This includes information about trade associations, agencies, conferences and events, education and training, consultants, e-health and technology services, medical travel insurance, PR and marketing services, translators and worldwide assistance, air ambulance and repatriation services.
IMTJ also distributes two weekly e-newsletter to around 18,000 senior management, marketing and operational staff worldwide who work in a broad spectrum of businesses involved in the medical travel sector. The e-newsletter is distributed to hospitals, clinics, health insurers, accreditation services, technology providers, medical tourism agencies, assistance companies, and tourism organisations in over 100 countries.
