It will be a collection of thought-provoking interviews, opinion pieces, useful and interactive expert advice, handy guides and news from around the world. Each page will include practical tips that readers can adapt to the running of their business. Topics being researched at the moment include: preparing your business for an IPO, crowdfunding and expanding overseas as well as new tech and products to help businesses run smoothly, smartly and in a cost effective way. There will also be interviews with finance experts and in-depth talks with business leaders about the financial strategy behind their most recent results. There will also be a news page, case histories on how businesses raised their finance, cost cutting tips and controversial opinion pieces. Gorkana Alert: Wednesday 22 January 2014 Escape, Director magazine's travel section, has expanded. The section focuses on all things international, both business and pleasure. ‘Business Travel:Tried and Tested’ features monthly flight and transport reviews. ‘Business Trip’ sees a British entrepreneur talk through how they found success from setting up in an overseas city with advice to readers on local business practice, tax and employments laws and cultural differences. The ‘Long-Haul’ travel feature chooses great places and experiences for the business leaders to have a change of scene, and talks to the business leaders behind them. ‘R&R’ features highlights the best in boutique city break hotels and rural getaways at home and abroad. ‘Meeting and Eating’ sees food expert and Sainsbury's magazine Editor-In-Chief Helena Lang sample the culinary delights of Britain's best restaurants.
