Fly Girl Collective is a mainstream group blog about "inspirational fitness stories and health tips for BAME women" The blog provides a mixture of health and fitness content with the bloggers blogging about what is of interest to them. Many posts feature interviews with members of the Collective which are written in a question & answer format and may include photographs. Others consist of thirty day challenges, 14 day challenges, training for the London Marathon and workout music. They also write about fashion shoots.

Fly Girl Collective is written by a group of bloggers overseen by Matilda who started the blog after training for a 10k run in London. "She’s passionate about encouraging black and brown women to pursue fitness, so in 2018, she qualified as a Leadership in Running Fitness coach to facilitate group sessions around London and beyond."
