Launched in May 2013, FitBits is a fitness and healthy eating blog by a "reformed binge-eating, beer-guzzling lazy ex smoker." The author of the blog shares her passions for all things active, whether it's running marathons, learning to climb, swim, kayak or step into a boxing ring for the first time.
The blog is run by Tess, a Brighton-based SEO and Social Media Marketer and Copywriter. Tess has completely changed her lifestyle over the past few years, and what started as a mission to lose weight and get fit has become a permanent happy lifestyle and choice. Tess is now addicted to keeping fit and healthy and is head over heels in love with her hometown, Brighton. She loves pushing her limits and facing her fears, setting herself constant challenges. Tess recently partnered with Active Sussex to be the Ambassador for This Girl Can Sussex.
The blog has many different sections including Home, About Me, Race Reports, Run, Bike, Swim, Food, Challenges and Marathons. Each section documents Tess' experiences and adventures that fit into the right category. There are also links to all of Tess' social media profiles, such as her twitter, pinterest and instagram account. Tess updates the blog a few times a month.
PR opportunities include brand collaboration and reviews, partnership opportunities, sports classes and events, races and even restaurant reviews. The best way to get in touch with Tess is via her email at tesslangley@hotmail.co.uk.
