Launched in 2006 as the official journal of the Division on Women and Crime of the American Society of Criminology for those interested in women, girls and crime within the context of a feminist critique of criminology. Focuses on research and theory that highlights the gendered nature of crime. Incorporates the perspective that paths to crime differ for males and females. Provides a venue for articles that place women in the center of research, answering different questions than the mainstream approach.
