They usually don't originate articles from press releases, but the buyer's guide sections may occasionally draw from interesting items that have accumulated. They strongly prefer to receive pitches by e-mail. Clips are helpful, but play a secondary role to the strength of the pitch itself. Media Alert: Monday 20th April 2009 Maxim's June issue, which is on sale 23rd April, will be the last UK print edition. The UK based division of the title will continue online from May onwards. Newsstands will then stock the US edition of the magazine for UK readers.
