Comic Heroes magazine is set to relaunch. The magazine, which celebrates comics and comic book heroes and previously ran for 24 issues, will deliver news, interviews, features, guides and reviews from around the world of comics including the heroes on the page and their creators. The quarterly magazine will launch on 9 October. Will Salmon will be Editor of the magazine, overseen by Special Editions Editor Rosie Fletcher, while Dave Bradley, Editor-in-Chief at Total Film and SFX, will add the title to the portfolio he currently heads up. Future, the special-interest media group, has announced the launch of Comic Heroes, a premium-priced quarterly title on sale in March. The launch of the 132-page quarterly, priced at £7.99, follows the huge success in 2009 of a “superheroes special” from sister-title SFX. Comic Heroes will be edited by Jes Bickham and promises to take an in-depth look at the latest superhero movies, videogames and of course, the comic books themselves – with news, previews, reviews and comprehensive features.
