Farming Today is a daily news show covering food, farming, the countryside and the environment with analysis and context from the BBC's experts in the field. The show is aimed at farmers and listeners with an interest in farming rural affairs. It is available on 92.5- 96.1 FM, DAB Digital Radio and online.

Launched in December 2000, RFD-TV is the nation's first 24-hour television network dedicated to serving the needs and interests of rural America and agriculture. The channel is produced and uplinked via satellite to all 50 states from Northstar Studios in Nashville, TN. The channel is carried by DISH Network, DIRECTV, Mediacom, and NCTC cable systems, with new cable systems adding the channel most everyday. Launched in 1988, Countryfile is a British television programme which airs weekly on BBC One and reports on rural and environmental issues in the United Kingdom. The show moved to Sunday evenings in April 2009, with shows typically centered on two lead presenters visiting a place or region, and uncovering the stories, characters and traditions which make that area distinctive. Typical subject matter includes wildlife, conservation, farming and food production, the arts, countryside crafts, social history and leisure activities. Episodes may include several segments with other presenters, uncovering other stories in the region.
