Channel EYE is a commercial technology blog that is based in London and is predominantly aimed at a UK audience.
Channel EYE was founded in February 2013 by Technology Journalist Mike Magee. Mike, who launched technology website TechEye in 2010, also founded The Inquirer and The Register previously. Mike has been a Journalist specialising in technology since the early 90s. In 2009 the Daily Telegraph placed Mike in its list of Top 50 most influential Britons in technology. The site is published by Prakasha Publishing Ltd with the hope it will inform, educate and entertain the influential supply chain in the United Kingdom. The site aims to provide hard hitting news, interviews and comment that reflect concerns of distributors, resellers and the rest of the community.
The majority of the content is news based, however it covers other matters including reviews, industry moves, product information, gossip and interviews with key people in the industry. Channel EYE is split into various sections that include News, Opinions, Products, Interviews, Gossip, Fun Stuff, Events and Moving People. Chanel EYE is updated five or six times a day on average.
