Background and Format:
The Daily and Sunday Politics is a political programme hosted by Andrew Neil and Jo Coburn. Sunday Politics provides political news from across the UK through its three national (Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and 11 regional segments, with a new consistent format across the UK. Sunday Politics Yorkshire and Lincolnshire is Lincolnshire, Humbershide and North Yorkshire's regional variant of the programme. Hosted by Tim Iredale, the programme follows a similar format to the main show, consisting of two political figures, normally MPs or MEPs, appearing for about 20 minutes. Regional segments of Sunday Politics have topical interviews and discussions, short films and a review of the political week in 60 seconds.
