NBC News aired the first regularly scheduled news program in American broadcast television history on February 21, 1940. Today, NBC News provides content for the Internet, as well as cable-only news networks CNBC and MSNBC. It produces a daily show called Stay Tuned for Snapchat's Discover platform. The Stay Tuned team launched The Overview on Peacock in 2021.
