Launched in July 2010, Abigail and the future depicts the day to day adventures, inspirations of a young family and everything else in between. Author Abigail Oliver is a photographer and nature lover based in Bristol where she resides with her young family. Abigail is very active on her social media outlets particularly Instagram and Twitter where she regularly posts content. Initially Abigail and the future was created as a platform for Abigail to document her feelings and frustrations during her pregnancy, the blog has since evolved into a space that follows her journey into parenthood. Readers can expect insights into memories, adventures and people they've met, as well as their loves, inspirations, ups and downs. Content is divided into the following categories: Wedding, our story, pregnancy, a family walk, Bristol adventures and adventures and beyond. Previous posts include: 'My Winter skincare with Green People', 'A pregnancy update, of sorts' and 'My maternity winter must haves'. Abigail uploads content illustrated by her own photography on a weekly basis. Abigail and the future is a PR friendly blog. PR opportunities include product reviews and sponsored posts, content must match the aesthetic of the blog and be of relevance to its readers.
