Background and Format: Founded in 1890, The Yorkshire Evening Post (the YEP, as it’s often known colloquially among its readership) is a tabloid newspaper for Leeds. Sections on the website include: news, Leeds United, Sport, Your Leeds, What's On, Lifestyle, City Buzz and Our City. It is aimed at readers living in Yorkshire and published every evening from Monday to Saturday. During the first half of 2012 the editorial operations of the YEP and Yorkshire Post were merged.
