WMUR-TV
WMUR-TV is the ABC affiliate for the Boston market. The station is owned by Hearst Television, Inc. WMUR-TV broadcasts locally on channel 9. It debuted in March 1954 and was New Hampshire's first network-affiliated, commercial television station. Coverage extends to Cheshire, Strafford, Belknap, and most of Grafton and Carroll counties in New Hampshire, parts of Orange County in Vermont and most of York County in Maine. WMUR-TV produces several local newscasts for the mornings and evenings. The station airs simulcasts its 6pm newscasts on WTPL-AM and WTNS-AM.
