The blog covers anything to do with weddings with an emphasis on fashion. The Blogger is Writer Louise Baltruschat, who writes full-time on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. She lives with her fiancé and son in a little village in Bedfordshire. The blog has been previously featured by The Times, Wedding Magazine, and various other wedding publications. September 2011 saw the blog shortlisted for the Wedding Blog of the Year category at the Cosmopolitan Magazine UK Blog Awards. Blog posts are comment-led and heavily feature photography. They comment on the different styles of dresses and accessories and are a useful guide to other people planning weddings. The blog is broken into various sectors including Real Weddings, Shoots, Planning, The Bride Diaries, DIY and Vendor. Within those sectors the blog takes a look at Budget, DIY, Vintage, Pretty, Modern, Rustic, Outdoor, Classic and Alternative Weddings. The blog provides planning ideas and tools for anything you can imagine when planning a wedding. On average the blog is updated on a daily basis, sometimes more, and relies heavily on high-quality images. PR opportunities exist within brand placement, product launches and others.
