Suncoast News Network Online
The website for Suncoast News Network is a 24-hour cable news network serving the Sarasota and Bradenton markets in Florida, in addition to surrounding counties. The network provides local and regional news, weather, and sports in partnership with the Sarasota Herald-Tribune daily newspaper. The network began operation on July 17, 1995. SNN is seen exclusively on Comcast cable in all of Sarasota and Charlotte counties, parts of Manatee County, and the Boca Grande portion of Lee County. PR professionals are advised to send all press releases to the SNN assignment desk by fax, mail, or e-mail. Lead time for faxes and e-mails is 24 hours. Lead time for mailed releases is one week. Story ideas are accepted 24 hours a day and should contain the who, what, where, when and how of the story.
