Silversprite
Silversprite is a site which looks into games in education and healthcare, gamification in society, and the game franchise. The site was created by John. He states: "My upbringing was rural, working on a smallholding and the associated farmshop (predominantly selling plums, apples, and homemade jams, pickled onions and scrumpy cider to passing motorists). Winter activities, especially, in a small Worcestershire village before the internet, consisted of a few television channels, three miles to the nearest public library and the occasional bus. It is not surprising that digital gadgets such as calculators and watches were a welcome distraction; as the 1970s marched on, game consoles started to appear in my life".Categories on the site include Animal Crossing; Data; Events; Game of Life; Games; Gamification; Recommended reads; Research; Reviews; Social media; Things I wrote; as well as Virtual worlds. Previous posts oPR opportunities on the site include reviews, news and possible collaborations and he can be reached via email.
