SShare Sleuth
The Share Sleuth Interactive Investor Blog aims to further "understanding of how to profit consistently from the stock market by selecting a portfolio of companies that should do better than the stock market average". The blog is run by Richard Beddard, who is the companies and markets editor of Interactive Investor. He explains how he got into investing: "One of us had to work out what to do with our savings, and my wife wasn’t showing much interest, so back in the mid-90s I subscribed to ‘Successful Personal Investing’, a correspondence course. It was on paper, and I believe it still is. Soon after, I set up an investment club at work with friends, and although we stopped investing together in the dot.com meltdown some of us still meet once a month. We even talk about investing occasionally!" A host of finance and investment categories on the Blog include: Beginning investing, Companies, Corrections, Definitions, Editor's choice, Intrinsic Value to Price Investing, Magic Formula and Markets. Posts vary in length and complexity. There appear to be no regular opportunities for PRs as Interactive Investor is mostly advisory.
