Real Change
Real Change is published weekly for and by the homeless community of Seattle and surrounding areas. The newspaper publishes the views of poor and homeless people and their advocates. Its editorial mission is to organize, educate, and build alliances to find community-based solutions to homelessness and poverty in Seattle and nationwide. Each issue contains 32 pages of quality journalism, poetry, opinion, art and photography, much of it produced by the poor and homeless themselves. It also shares book and film reviews, interviews and other feature stories with members of the International Network of Streetpapers.

Background & Format: The Real Democracy Movement is a group blog about "building a real democracy movement." The blog provides a mixture of political content with the bloggers blogging about what is of interest to them. Many posts are about radical plans to reboot democracy which are written in a news style and may include photographs. Others consist of Labour Party issues, campaigning about Brexit, local activism, climate change protests and reviews of philosophers. They also write about events like Glastonbury.
