PPulse - pulsetoday.co.ukUnited Kingdom
Launched in 1960 as an all-purpose toolkit for general practice, Pulse is designed to keep GPs up to date with the latest practical information about their work. It is the UK’s leading medical monthly publication, counting more than 70 per cent of GPs among its regular readers, as well as other primary care professionals. The magazine offers comprehensive coverage of news affecting GPs and practice staff, from clinical advances to the latest political developments, with stories regularly picked up by the national media. Audience and Readership: Print readership is made up of GPs, with online content reaching a wider audience, including practice nurses, practice managers, hospital doctors and managers at primary care trusts. Deadline: The editorial deadline will vary, with the publication going to press towards the end of each month. Deadlines for each section run throughout the month. Content is added online first - press releases are best sent in as soon as possible. In addition, Pulse sends out a daily email to GPs, for which the deadline is 4pm the day before. Time of Publication: End of the month. Frequency: Monthly. Other Information: All stories need to have a GP angle. Planning for the magazine takes place on the first Wednesday of every month.
