The Arizona NewsChannel is a 24-hour cable news network that simulcasts and replays newscasts from KTVK-TV (also known as 3TV). The network airs seven and a half hours of KTVK-TV news each weekday, four hours on Saturday and three hours on Sunday. The newscasts are recorded on servers at the cable provider, Cox Communications, Inc. and then replayed until the next live newscast. The news channel is a partnership between Cox Communications, Inc. which provides cable to 92 percent of the Phoenix market, and Belo Corp., which owns KTVK-TV. The network launched on November 4, 1996, and reaches an estimated 420,000 homes. The Arizona NewsChannel receives the majority of its information from the Associated Press, CNN and Conus (via the KTVK newscasts). In general, PR professionals are advised to send press releases via fax to the KTVK-TV assignment desk. Be brief, but specific. Lead times vary. Feature stories can take weeks to produce while breaking news can be processed in minutes. The Arizona NewsChannel is watched predominantly by adult Arizona residents interested in daily news.

KMOV-TV is the CBS affiliate for the St. Louis market. The station is owned by Gray Television, Inc. KMOV-TV broadcasts locally on channel 4. KMOV-TV began broadcasting in St. Louis as KWK-TV on July 8, 1954. Four years later, CBS Inc., purchased the station and changed its call letters to KMOX-TV. On May 16, 1986, Viacom International, Inc., bought KWK-TV from CBS. Because CBS retained the KMOX call letters for the AM radio station it still owned locally, a change in call letters was necessary. KMOX-TV became KMOV-TV.
