KTMD-TV, also known as Telemundo Houston, is the Houston-area affiliate of the Spanish-language television network Telemundo. Licensed to Galveston, Texas, KTMD serves the Houston metropolitan area. KTMD produces approximately 17 hours of local news and information programming each week. The station also offers coverage of major local events, including the Houston Texans football games and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Smooth Radio is a network of adult contemporary local radio stations broadcasting on FM and AM stations in England and Scotland. Launched in March 2014, they replaced the national Smooth Radio that had launched in 2010 on FM, and most outlets of Gold on AM. Smooth Scotland carries local breakfast and drivetime shows on weekdays, and four hours local a day at weekends, with the remainder of programming fed from Leicester Square, London. Each show play pop music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s and local and international news. The station is available on 105.2 FM in Glasgow, DAB in Edinburgh, Digital Radio and Online.

KRON-TV is The CW affiliate for the San Francisco market and broadcasts locally on channel 4. KRON-TV covers local news, sports, weather, and daily consumer reports. The station shared ownership with the San Francisco Chronicle and its newscasts benefited from the paper's resources.
