KMAX-TV is a local Sacramento-based CW affiliate. The station is owned by CBS Broadcasting Inc., and broadcasts locally on channel 31. KMAX-TV debuted on October 15, 1974 as KMUV-TV. The first family to own and operate the station was the Lear family. They formatted the station to air movies only. Soon after, it went on to air sitcoms, classic reruns, and later, Spanish programming. The Koplar family took over the ownership and changed the call letters to KRBK-TV and returned to air just classic reruns. In 1994, under the ownership of the Pappas family, the call letters changed once again to KPWB-TV. During this time, the station launched the local morning show, Good Day Sacramento, which still airs today. KMAX-TV can be contacted at any point between 10:30am and 5am PT.

WBBM-TV is the CBS affiliate for the Chicago market and broadcasts locally on channel 2. WBBM-TV debuted as WBKB-TV in 1946 as the first commercial station outside the Eastern Time Zone and the sixth in the United States. It operated independently until 1949 when it affiliated with the Paramount Television Network. In 1953 the station assumed its current call letters and CBS affiliation. Notable former on-air staff include the late movie critic Gene Siskel and NBC News anchor Lester Holt.

WFED-AM broadcasts to the Washington, D.C. area at 1500 AM. The station's target audience is listeners, ages 18 to 64.
