Created as the official publication of the New Jersey State Nurses Association. Reports on professional, economic, political, ethical, education, legal issues and events that affect nursing in New Jersey. Carries regular reports of continuing education courses for nurses and a feature on legislative happenings in Trenton. Also contains news of the association, such as the annual convention, conference and workshops, appointments, meetings, grants and awards. It carries member news both professional and personal. New Jersey Nurse DOES accept bylined articles/submissions. All NJSNA members are encouraged to submit material for publication that is of interest to nurses. The New Jersey Nurse also welcomes unsolicited manuscripts. Article submission is preferred in MS Word format, Times New Roman font and can be up to 750 words. When sending pictures, please remember to label pictures clearly since the editors have no way of knowing who persons in the photos might be. Copy Submissions: Preferred submission is by email to the Managing Editor. Only use MS Word for test submission. Please do not embed photos in Word files, send photos as jpg files.
