MMyCarNeedsA.com BlogUnited Kingdom
MyCarNeedsA.com Blog is a motor-related blog created in 2015. There are no assigned Bloggers for the site, but they are likely staff at the organisation. The team states: "For companies, the blog has become an invaluable tool for keeping customers updated with latest industry news, promoting special offers and competitions and keeping in touch with customer’s needs and wants... a blog has evolved from the traditional idea of a blog - that being a series of written posts - to a centralised hub of integrated content. Across all industries, with a blog, companies can inform, entertain, educate and promote, with a whole host of different content types - such as traditional text, videos, images and interactive applications." Previous entries on the site include Why Are Smart Car Repairs So Smart?; What's Happened To MoT Service Reminders!?; There Are 3,500 Speed Cameras On Our Roads; as well as What is a Timing Belt. Some of the team's favourite content includes: creating statistical map of Great Britain, which divides the country into regions and compares them by stat groups, such as average price paid per car and road accident rat; the infographics, such as the one where the team examined what’s checked on an MOT test or interactive James Bond infographic, which coincided with the release of Spectre in October 2015 and highlighted the servicing points of some of Bond’s most famous cars. PR opportunities on the site may relate to motor news and the team can be reached via email. Awards: 2017 - UK Blog Awards, Automotive (nominated) 2016 - UK Blog Awards, Best Automotive Blog - Organisation (Nominated)
