Making It UpUnited KingdomLaunched in May 2003, Making It Up is the personal blog of Jax Blunt and her literary adventures. Jax states that her blog 'isn't about making money. It's about her life, her family, their education'. The blog posts are written by Jax Blunt. Since she has started the blog she states that it has been a rollercoaster ride, when she started, she had one child. And a bump. She now has 4 children, has miscarried three times, lost a sister, changed career, given up working and started a business based mainly around opportunities that have come out of this blog. Entries in the Making It Up blog concentrate on categories such as 100 Book Challenge, Ages past, Blog for good, Blogging, Book club, Breastfeeding, Carnival, Doodling, Drawing and Decoration, Fainting in coils, Family, Featured, Getting to know you, Giveaway, Here we go again, How we do it, It's life Jim, It's where it is, Jonny had two apples, Making things, Memes, Montessori minded, Phones and kit, Places we like, Political stuff, Pregnancy, Ranting or Raving, Reenactment, Review, Rhythm of the day, Small steps, Social Media, Someone Once said and many others. PR opportunities include news, reviews and interviews related to the arts, especially literature as well as the categories above. Jax 'doesn’t carry guest posts from people trying to use her site for SEO purposes. If you’re about to mail to offer her “quality content written specifically” for her blog, please think again. After all, she likes to think that that’s what she does. She also doesn’t need to rank higher in google than she already does – most of my traffic arrives by personal contact through social media, and she's quite happy with that. She does carry sponsored posts that she's written, but they will be clearly marked as such, and contain no follow links. She also does product reviews and is happy to consider brand ambassador positions, particularly paid ones. Jax can be reached via email or her social media platforms where she is active.
