Background and Format: LatAm Investor, founded in 2013, was set up to inform their UK readership of the major investment and business trends in Latin America. It aims to provide updates on Latin America’s financial markets, business trends and political landscape. As well as, aid, and indeed be part of, that growing relationship by providing investment information. It sources exclusive interviews and reports from Latin America’s economies. Late Night with Seth Meyers, a comedy talk show, features an opening monologue, skits, guests and musical performances. Guests include actors, comedians, politicians, athletes, writers, musical performers, as well as, to a lesser extent, ordinary people who have had interesting or funny things happen to them. Seth Meyers became the host in February 2014. Before that, Jimmy Fallon hosted since March 2009. Prior to that,Conan O'Brien was host from 1993 to 2009. He left Late Night to take over the Tonight Show. David Letterman was Late Night’s original host from 1982 to 1993. PR professionals are advised to send comedy/skit pitches to the appropriate producer. Guest bookings are to be made through the talent executives. Guests are typically booked a month before their scheduled appearance.The show is taped in front of a live studio audience starting at 5:30pm ET. Most of the producers and talent executives prefer fax or mail. They are interested in receiving the following types of PR opportunities: book reviews; personality profiles and interviews; public appearances; and rumors and insider news. Keep pitches brief but specific, and include appropriate contact information. High Definition broadcasts have been available since spring 2004.
