Launched in August 2015, Joining Dots blog features ongoing research into trends connecting people, information and technology with data science and story telling to analyse scenarios and explore digital futures. The site is for sharing ideas and observations. The blog posts are written by Sharon Richardson. Sharon has over 20 years industry experience as client, vendor and consultant in information and communications technologies, including being the former European lead for portal and collaborative software at Microsoft. Her research interests span computing and cognitive sciences with an ongoing fascination about how the world ‘works’. She has a MSc in Smart Cities and Urban Analytics from University College London (UCL).
