The East Anglian Daily Times will also launch an Ipswich edition to compensate for the loss of the Saturday edition of the Ipswich Evening Star. Coincidentally, a new free weekly title will be launched entitled the Stowmarket Mercury. The changes will all take place in the week commencing Monday 23 January and will result in the loss of 14 out of 91 jobs at the publication. These will be from the photographic, production and features teams and writers from the newsdesk, sports, business and commercial will be unaffected.
