Launched in December 2005, Irontwit is a running blog specialising in triathlons. Author John Sutton was a keen cyclist in his youth and ran five marathons whilst at university. He decided for his 40th birthday he would challenge himself to compete in a triathlon. His first competition was the Windsor triathlon in 2003, John continued competing for a further 2 years before deciding to start document his experiences in 2005 and hasn't looked back since. Irontwit provides John with an outlet to catalogue his triathlon endeavours, providing his readers with insight into race reports, triathlon tips, general stories and even a few recipes.
