Established in 1947 and formerly known as The Timber Producer. Edited for members of the Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association of Michigan and Wisconsin or for anyone involved in the industry. Content covers legislation, lobbying efforts, environmental issues and conservation, timber management, trucking and transportation, training and logging techniques, hot topics in the industry and safety.

Great Lakes Today is a collaboration of public radio stations, created to increase coverage of the lakes. The partners are WBFO Buffalo, ideastream Cleveland and WXXI Rochester.
