FFarmersgirl Kitchen
Farmersgirl Kitchen is a personal food and recipe blog launched in August 2007 by a Scotland-based Blogger. Blogger Janice Pattie is a Food Writer and a passionate Cook, Baker and Craft Enthusiast. She and her husband moved from Glasgow to his family's farm in rural southwest Scotland in 1985. Janice has been baking since the age of 11 and is always seeking out new recipes, developing her own and sharing her love of food with others. She has another blog, Serial Crafter, documenting her many arts and crafts creations. Entries on Farmersgirl Kitchen consist mostly of recipes and various reviews and write-ups. Recipes include a personal introduction, high-quality photos and may include product or brand tie-ins. Some are Janice's own creations while others come from cookbooks or other bloggers. Write-ups may be recaps of Janice's experiences at food festivals or other culinary events, as well as travels (highlighting food) and round-ups of food blogging or recipe challenges. She also does restaurant reviews, product reviews and competitions. Janice says she is "always interested in trying out products, recipes and reviewing cookbooks and restaurants for PR companies or direct from the manufacturers/publishers". She tells us she's happy to do "cooking and baking product reviews and related competitions", as long as they are food related. Please note the blog does not host advertising or advertorial.
